In the Verdon’s bed, that is the third stage.
(unsuitable for the kids under 8 years old, need to be able to swim).
From this site, the river is getting less and less wide, it is pure nature : you, the canoe, the river, fishes, mountains.
You are against the stream.

At the beginning of this part, your canoe is in tow (you are walking in the river, towing your canoe).

Basically you have to go through two grevels beaches to keep on going with adventure.
According to the water level, you can ride 800 meters more.
Some beautifuls mint waterpools are inviting you for a bath. Very nices white stones beaches are waiting you to pic nic and chill out.

It is three hours long (8 km return) and one hour more for bath and pic nic.

The canoeing’s back up stops near a path where you leave your canoe for a walk between huge rocks.

There is nothing to forget about this mineral and aquatic universe.

The tour is divided in 4 stages :

1/ To the "Cascade" : 1 hour return (3 km return)

2/ To the birth of the lake : 2 hours return (6 km return)

- 1 hour more for bath and pic-nic -

3/ In the river’s bed : 3 hours return (8 km return)

- 1 hour more for bath and pic-nic -

4/ Walking in the river’s bed to the point " défilé of the Rouvière" (one hour more - 1 km return). More information at the welcome office.
